Consumer rights and ANPC

Information for consumers in Romania and the European Union.

1. Consumer status
This page applies to natural persons acting outside their trade, business or profession. Business clients may have different contractual rules.

2. Pre-contract information
Before ordering, consumers should receive clear information about provider identity, service characteristics, total price, payment, delivery/activation, contract duration, cancellation and withdrawal rights.

3. Withdrawal right
EU consumers may have a 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts. For digital services or services started during the withdrawal period, specific acknowledgements may be required and the right may be limited according to applicable law.

4. Complaints
Complaints can be submitted through the client area or by email to office@newdigitalmedia.eu. We will review and respond within a reasonable time.

5. ANPC / SAL
Romanian consumers may contact the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) and may use alternative dispute resolution (SAL), where applicable. Add the exact ANPC/SAL links required for your activity and keep them visible in the footer.

6. Online dispute resolution
The former EU Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued in 2025. Do not add an obsolete ODR link unless the law changes or a new official mechanism applies.

7. Mandatory notice
Before launch, have this page reviewed by a Romanian legal professional and adapt it to your exact services, refund rules, company data and consumer procedures.
